‚Stadt im Feuerschein‘ (City in the Firelight) is the second advance single of Hellbachs upcoming second album ‚Berlin - Nordhausen‘. Using his uncompromising all-out analogue approach, this one-take composition on an old string synthesizer is a musical meditation about the horrors of war and a nod to Berlin School heroes Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze. The Enoesque b-side ,In lichter Höhe‘ (In Lofty Heights) is a minimalistic contemplative tune about the view of the earth from great heights. The third song 'Intertrans I' is a calm and at the same time eerie ambient journey into early childhood memories.

'As I move forward on my artistical journey, I try to capture these transcendent and intimate moments of musical expression as unchanged as possible. The less tampering with the creative process, the less technology and post-production involved, the better.'

‚Stadt im Feuerschein‘ ist die zweite Single von Hellbachs kommendem zweiten Album ‚Berlin - Nordhausen‘. Das im One-Take auf einem alten Stringsynthesizer eingespielte Stück ist eine Meditation über den Horror des Krieges und eine Hommage an die Helden der Berliner Schule Tangerine Dream und Klaus Schulze. Die enoeske B-Seite 'In lichter Höhe' ist ein minimalistisches Stück über den Blick auf die Erde aus ebendieser. Die Ambientkomposition 'Intertrans I' ist eine sowohl träumerische als auch verstörende Reise in frühe Kindheitserinnerungen.

'Je weiter ich meinen musikalischen Weg gehe, desto wichtiger ist es für mich, die inniglichen Momente des Schaffensprozesses der Kompositionen so unverändert wie möglich zu lassen. Je weniger Technologie und nachträgliche Produktion, desto besser.'
