‚Don John' is a tip of the cap to 80s synthwave and adolescent life behind the Iron Curtain, where the weekly Miami Vice episode was an otherworldly escape from the urban humdrum of daily reality. The short one-take composition ‚Schatten in der Nacht' (Shadows in the Night) is a Bandcamp exclusive and not avaiable on other streaming platforms.

‚Don John' ist eine Hommage an den Synthwave der 80er Jahre und eine vertonte Erinnerung an die Jugend hinter dem Eisernen Vorhang, als die wöchentlichen Miami Vice-Episoden eine kurze Flucht aus der grauen Alltagsrealität boten.
