‚Durch den schönen Harz‘ (Through the Beautiful Mountains) is the first advance single of Hellbachs upcoming 2nd album ‚Berlin - Nordhausen‘. Using his uncompromising analogue approach, the song is a nostalgic meditation of a steam train driving through teutonic mountain landscapes and a nod to early Krautrock works of bands like Kraftwerk, Neu! and Cluster. The ambient b-side ,Zorgenfrei‘ (Carefree) takes the listener back to Wagnerian late romanticism and offers both the view from a mountaintop and an insight into inner landscapes.
